Birkenstock Shoes Need No Introduction
Celebrated as the most comfortable shoes ever made, Birkenstock history goes back to the late 1700â’s. Johann Adam Birkenstock was registered as Shoemaker in the church archives. Johannâ’s grandson Konrad developed a concept that would literally change the shape of shoes in 1897. The rest, as they say is history. Exported to all parts of the World, Birkenstock shoes are known to be the healthy shoe. Each footbed is made of cork and natural latex. Birkenstocks are also known to exercise the entire leg by their built in toe bar which allows the foot to grip and flex stimulating circulation and helping to maintain balance.
