Seattle Dog Boarding

There are many reasons a responsible pet owner may need to leave their dog with a Seattle dog boarding facility; illness, vacations, business trips, and having company over to name a few. In my case, I just didn’t want to be the one to deal with my dog immediately following his neutering surgery.

He’s a pretty big dog (German Shepherd mix) and not only do I not love to see him in pain, I didn’t want him to take out his frustrations at having his manly parts removed on me or my guests. I figured a Seattle dog boarding facility would have the resources to deal with a hurt, angry and very humbled hundred pound monster dog better than I would.

The day I picked my poor dog up from Seattle dog boarding I swear he had tears in his eyes. He looked so tragic with the stupid cone around his neck to keep him from tearing at his stitches.

The animal handlers told me he hadn’t done anything but whimper in the corner and growl at anyone who walked to close to him. So they gave him space. I would have too. I know he wasn’t miserable because the Seattle dog boarding place mistreated him, I think he thought I had run out on him and left him confused and in pain. He was a bit clingy after that far a while, scared I’d leave him again. I think the next time I drop him off at the Seattle dog boarding place for a weekend, I’ll make sure he’s in top health first so he can enjoy it rather than being traumatized.
