The Long Vacation in Scottsdale: Luxury Condo Style

Posted on April 21st, 2008 in Tips and Tricks by NewsCrawler

Whether you come to Arizona to escape the winter or come to enjoy just a little bit of me time on the links, you may find that your regular hotel stay will seem a little stale if you are on extended vacation. I shift gears a bit with that and think more of having the amenities from home but staying in a fine Vegas-style suite. Scottsdale condo rentals fit that bill.

Gas Prices are Still a Burden

It’s been going on for 10 years now and enough is enough! It is long past the time that gas prices need to stabilize and people can get back to the point where we can fill up without having to take out a second mortgage. Whether we drive a four cylinder Hyundai or a mega cab long bed pickup with four-wheel drive and quadruple exhaust, we shouldn’t have to fear the gas pumps.

Now, I’m not one to place the blame on the crumbling environment or the evil gas industry, but whoever or whatever is to blame, we need to figure out a way to stabilize the price of gas. I filled up yesterday and paid TRIPLE the price per gallon that I paid when I was a senior in High School (not that long ago). I mean, you have to account for inflation, but geeze!

Baby Clothes – Then and Now

I recently had the opportunity to spend a few days with a friend at her home where we were frequently visited by her two nieces, who were quite cute and a whole lot of fun to be around. I have a sister that is 13 years younger than me, so I contributed a good deal to her rearing and I have noticed that a lot has changed during the past decade and a half – especially in regards to baby clothes.

From my experience with my sister as an infant, I remember thinking that clothes were clothes, and spending hundreds of dollars on baby clothes was kind of stupid, as they would surely grow out of them in minutes. However, now it seems that parents are much more willing to spend more money on children’s clothes that will be on the racks at Good Will within months.

Increase Productivity, Communication, and Fun Through Team Building Games

Team building games are a great way to help people communicate, work and play together. Colleges, business and youth camps have all started tapping into these useful tools because they help their participants have a good time and work together.

The low-key and fun environment fostered by games is the perfect atmosphere for getting people to relax and be comfortable. And, since games also usually have objectives and winners, people naturally get enthusiastic and motivated to participate.

Infant Fashion Trends

There seems to be such a strong mindset with new parents that buying non-brand name infant clothing is the only way to go. It seems like a good idea, especially if you trying to save every dollar you can. I’m glad though that Tiny Treasures Baby has those prices too, with a lot of the clearance material whose prices are basically cut in half.

Right now they have some nice overstocked items. Some items that are left over from the winter season are up for grabs like the baby girl’s velour coveralls. Not to mention some very cool Harley Jackets for the “youngins”. They look so cute on my friend’s four-year-old boy. His dad is a chopper freak and pairing those together with their hard rider look is priceless.
